Check if plant needs water

It can be tricky sometimes to know if the plant needs water. The best way to know is to dig with your finger 2/3 cm in the substrate to feel if it’s wet or not.

Another simple solution is to lift the pot, if it’s light then it’s dry !

The plant will also show you when she is thirsty by not raising her leaves up, if it’s so, it’s more than time to water !

Observe the soil each time you visit your plant, and with some experience you will get to know what it is telling you and what it needs.

Always wait for the soil to dry before watering.

An old plant will consume way more water than a young one.
